Today was the last day of our trip before the trek back to Columbus tomorrow and as such, we packed a lot into today. We strolled around some of the historic squares in Savannah in the morning and then drove to Hilton Head Island to see a friend of Jenny's and her family. Jenny used to babysit the three girls many years ago when she lived in Atlanta. We had a great lunch and then played on the beach. Carter and Cassidy adored the girls and kept putting sand on them and loved being chased by them. The kids played so hard that they both were fast asleep before we had left the island. We had a great meal in Savannah and then made our way down to the riverfront to watch the fireworks. Carter loved them a little more than Cassidy did as she thought they were a bit loud.
What a great trip it has been.
