This morning we packed up the van and headed north from south Florida to Savannah, Georgia where we will spend the weekend. We arrived at our Holiday Inn Express along the historic riverfront in Savannah. We then ventured out along the river to see the sights. We had a great meal and then some ice cream and then headed to the rooftop pool for a swim before bed. The kids loved seeing the huge cargo ships going by. We saw one while we were right on the riverfront and another from the roof top. Tomorrow we will venture around Savannah some before heading to Hilton Head for the afternoon and then back to Savannah for fireworks along the river.
