Fire Station Fun

Had a great time at Norwich Township Fire Station 81 open house this weekend! We got to tour the fire house, watch a demo of the firefighters removing the side and roof of a car and look at some really cool fire trucks, old and new!! The kids had a blast and Bryan and I enjoyed it too:)

Came to life one day.

After losing the training wheels last summer, Cassidy would venture out on her 2 wheels at times, but not with the comfort she had gained on 4.  I bought her a new helmet last week as her old one was getting a bit tight and just like Frosty, she seemed to come to life when she placed that hat upon her head.  She has gained amazing confidence and has been riding everywhere everyday. Her new confidence does not look to melt away as the days grow warmer.

Awesome Art

Last week was the annual art show at Carter's school.  Last year both Carter and Cassidy had their works on display, but this year Carter did not have to share the spotlight.  He enjoyed showing off his works of art and seeing many of his friends and teachers.

Row Row Row your boat

....in a swimming pool?   Cass and Carter have been taking swimming classes at the Y where we are now members and they have really enjoyed it and have made great strides.  The part that has been different than any of the other classes they have had elsewhere is that they spend one class on boat and life preserver safety.  The kids enjoyed riding in the boat and learned about safety, but it was a bit odd to see a boat in the pool.
