This was one of the most emotional weeks of my life. After getting a call the weekend before that my dad was not doing well and that I should get down to see him...I made a quick trip down and back that weekend to see my dad in the hospital. Not knowing how many more days we had with him I was not sure if I would get to see him again or if Jenny or the kids would get to either. As it turned out we were able to all make it down the following weekend to see him in the hospital. The next few days involved the highs of dinner with my family at local seafood places on the beach and the lows of spending hours by my dad's bedside in the hospital...followed by a move to hospice and subsequent long hours there. After getting to spend some quality time alone with my dad...at the end of the second day in hospice he left us. Although it was not unexpected...it was not easy. The rest of the week continued to have the highs and lows, but it was an important week in so many ways.

| Getting to spend some time with the cousins |

| We got to eat at one of my Dad's favorite restaurants at the end of a pier on Anna Maria Island. |
 |
| We even saw this dolphin over and over while we were waiting on our food at the pier. |
 |
| One of the highs was getting to spend a lot of time with Dad's lifelong friend, Mick |
