During our week long trip to Florida the kids spent so much time in the water...they might have grown gills. We spent every morning at the beach and every afternoon in the pool. They both loved going to the beach, especially one called Bath Tub Reef where the water is shallow and the sand is flat until far out to the reef. They enjoyed looking for shells and making sandcastles. While in the pool, they both took great strides forward with Carter getting up the nerve to jump out into the pool on a raft. Cass made more progress in the one week than she has in months of lessons. She started wearing large goggles that the other girls had with them and this seemed to make all the difference. With no worries about water in her eyes or up her nose, Cass started diving to the bottom of the pool to get toys, started jumping into the pool without any floaties and even started swimming the backstroke. It was quite amazing to watch. Note the two videos at the bottom...
