Big Step

Today was a big step for both kids as they started their next school year.  For Cass it is stepping up to all-day, everyday kindergarten from half day preschool.  Carter is stepping up to all-day, everyday preschool from just two half days a week last year.  They were both very excited to start school.  They got their new backpacks (Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story and Ballet Dora) and were ready to go!


They had a great time at school and both even took naps!  We knew that all-day school would wear them out, but were glad to hear that they felt comfortable enough in their new school to go to sleep at nap time.  They both talked all the way home about what they did during the day and ate at lunch.  While Carter said that lunch was his favorite part of his day, he also said that he did not like the peas that they had.
