A year ago today our family was completed. A year ago today Jenny and I returned from China with Carter. A year ago today Carter was able to meet his big sister and Cassidy got to meet her little brother. It was a very long and tiring day, but an amazing one as well. In many ways it seems hard to believe it has been a whole year since we got back from China and in other ways, it seems like Carter has been with us for far longer. A year ago today our new life as a family of four began with a tearful meeting in the airport.
