For the second year in row, Jenny and I enjoyed an exciting trip to New York City. It was an action packed visit, as we saw two Broadway musicals and a ballet and visited the Museum of Modern Art.
We saw Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Neil Patrick Harris on Friday evening and were completely blown away. He and the show were amazing.
Saturday was the real fun filled day with a visit to the museum in the morning where we got to see two Van Gogh paintings, several Monet's, many Picasso's and many other amazing works. Then we saw the matinee performance of the musical If / Then with Idina Menzel. It was very different than Hedwig, but just as good. That evening, we saw the ballet Manon at The Lincoln Center with American Ballet Theatre. The lead was performed by one of the greatest prima ballerinas in the world and one I had been wanting to see for several years, Polina Semionova. She was as great as expected.
While it was certainly not a relaxing weekend, it was one we will never forget!

Looks like a great trip. So glad you had such a nice time, just the two of you!
