From slimy seeds to pumpkin posing

After selecting pumpkins a couple weeks ago at the pumpkin patch, it was finally time to carve them into jack-o'-lanterns.  The kids drew their designs on paper and I tried to mimick that on the pumpkin.  The kids even helped scoop out the insides and pick the seeds out for toasting.  They enjoyed getting messy as much as the carving.  They also enjoyed the way their pumpkins looked when completed.
